Qualification Renewal Approved! Eihe Steadily Expands Global Market Footprint

Recently, Qingdao Eihe Steel Structure Group Co., Ltd. has successfully completed the renewal audit for multiple core international qualifications that expired. The renewed overseas qualifications mainly cover the mandatory EU certification for imported steel structures and the international welding system certification.

EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011 is the core standard for CE marking certification of steel structures under the framework of the EU Construction Products Regulation (CPR). Since July 1, 2014, all steel structure products exported to the EU market must obtain EN 1090 certification before being placed on sale. This certificate represents the assessment and recognition of the manufacturer’s Factory Production Control (FPC) system.

EN 1090-2:2018+A1:2024, the technical specification segment of the EN 1090 series, stipulates specific technical requirements for steel structural components.

EN ISO 3834-2:2021 is the standard for quality requirements in fusion welding of metallic materials formulated by the International Organization for Standardization. It covers the entire process including welding design, procedure development, production operation and quality control, and serves as a mandatory requirement for welding quality management for steel structures to gain access to the EU market.

The renewal of the TÜV Rheinland Certification Contract extends the annual surveillance audit qualification of Eihe’s factory production control system issued by the authoritative third-party body, ensuring the company continuously meets the compliance assessment requirements of EU notified bodies.

The successful renewal of the above overseas qualifications not only verifies that Eihe Steel Structure maintains consistent compliance in welding quality management and factory production control capabilities, but also provides solid qualification support for the company to keep serving overseas clients and expand its steel structure business across Europe and the globe.
