Kongtong Wonderland is a key cultural tourism project in Yantai. Centered on the core positioning of "culture + tourism", it has a total construction area of approximately 102,600 square meters and is designed to be China’s first fairy fantasy cultural tourism resort island. As the core landmark of the project, Dongyou Palace Theater will deliver myth-themed experiences through an immersive oriental dream theater upon completion. Behind this imaginative building, how does the steel structure uphold this "mythical dreamland"? Eihe Steel Structure provides the answer with its technical strength in long-span spatial structures.

The theater’s core load-bearing structure is the annular truss beam. Boasting a large span and heavy weight, each single member weighs 24 tons, serving as a critical part of the entire steel structure project. A 650-ton heavy crawler crane was deployed for on-site hoisting. The components were positioned with millimeter-level precision to offer stable support for the theater’s roof structure.

Relying on its technical accumulation and extensive experience in long-span spatial structures, Eihe Steel Structure provided full-process technical support for the project, ranging from component fabrication to on-site installation. Previously, Eihe Steel Structure has delivered multiple benchmark projects in the field of long-span spatial structures and complex steel structures. The BAIC New Energy Project was the first project by a local Yantai enterprise to win China Steel Structure Gold Award. The Luchang Automobile Industry Project stands as Qingdao’s largest single industrial building project with an investment exceeding 100 million yuan. Other representative prefabricated steel structure projects include the Library of China University of Petroleum (East China) Guzhenkou Campus, Jimo No.2 People’s Hospital and Jinkou Kindergarten EPC Project, where the single building assembly rate of Jinkou Kindergarten reaches 77%. The smooth progress of the Dongyou Palace Project at Kongtong Wonderland once again verifies Eihe Steel Structure’s engineering capability for large and complex steel structures in cultural tourism, and serves as another representative case showcasing the company’s expertise in developing long-span spatial structural systems.
