Column-to-column supports must be installed to ensure longitudinal stiffness and to transfer horizontal loads.

2. How are these components connected?

After our factory disassembles and processes all the components of the entire warehouse, the components transported to the site only need to be connected using bolts and welding.

3. Should the column feet of the coal bunker columns be connected by rigid joints or by hinge joints?

The height of the coal pile inside the coal warehouse is large, and the foundation may bear uneven horizontal thrust. Hinged column feet do not transmit bending moments, which can avoid the foundation bearing excessive overturning moments and make the foundation design more economical.
