Extendable Container House

Extendable Container Houses are buildings that are based on standard shipping containers as their structural framework. By adding mechanical expansion, folding or rotating devices, they can change their size during transportation and residence. Our Chinese steel structure factory can pre-process the structure, wall panels, water and electricity, etc., allowing for a move-in without unpacking.

Key feature

● Foundation and Expansion: The basic unit is a standard container (such as 20 or 40 feet in size), with a fixed size during transportation. When in place, the usable area can be doubled or even tripled by means of lateral sliding, up and down movement, extending at the end, or folding and unfolding.

● Main Types: The most common ones are single-sided drawer type and double-sided pull type. More complex ones include multi-layer folding type (similar to the expansion compartment of a caravan) and rotating type (such as the entire container rotating 90 degrees, with the long side becoming the wide side).
