Steel Structure Cinema

Steel structure cinema buildings refer to public buildings whose main load-bearing structures (such as beams, columns, roof trusses, etc.) are constructed with steel and are specifically used for film screening and providing viewing experiences. Its main structure is made of H-shaped steel or square tubes. The common structural forms are steel frame structure, truss structure and grid structure. The cinemas we designed and constructed have the advantages of fast construction speed, flexible layout and high space utilization rate.

Product technical specifications

A steel structure cinema, while using steel structure as the main frame, also needs to meet the requirements of the cinema in terms of space, acoustics, vision and safety.

1. Structural main body specifications: Generally speaking, the column spacing in the screening hall of a cinema should not be greater than 12 meters. Depending on the scale of the cinema, the span can reach 15 to 65 meters. To enhance the design space for the screen and acoustics, the floor height must not be lower than 7.8 meters.

2. Coordination of buildings and equipment. The surface of the components needs to be sprayed with fireproof coatings to reach the highest standard fire resistance limit. The materials used for the walls and roofs need to be treated for sound insulation. Professional acoustic optimization materials and stepped floor layouts can be used.

3. Main materials: The steel used for the main load-bearing components should be high-strength steel. Each node should be connected by high-strength bolts.

What kind of cinemas are suitable for adopting steel structure forms?

Multi-screen cinema: For cinemas that need to design multiple screens, the inherent flexibility advantage of steel structures can meet the different design requirements of different screens in cinemas.

IMAX or large-screen theaters: What this type of cinema needs most is an open screening space. Steel structures can achieve such an open space through the advantage of large span and column-free design.

Temporary cinema: The main steel structure is connected by bolts, and the panels can be connected by rivets. Steel Structure CinemaIt can be flexibly disassembled and expanded, making it very suitable for use as a temporary cinema.
